Pico de Gallo

INGREDIENTS
🍅 4 medium Roma tomatoes, finely diced
🧅 ½ white onion, finely chopped
🌶️ 1 jalapeño or serrano pepper, seeded and chopped
🌿 ½ cup fresh cilantro, finely chopped
🍋 Juice of 2 limes
🧂 Salt, to taste
🧂 Black pepper, to taste
🧄 (Optional) 1 small garlic clove, finely minced 

INSTRUCTIONS
1. Combine Ingredients:
In a large bowl, mix the diced tomatoes 🍅, onion 🧅, chili 🌶️, cilantro 🌿, and garlic 🧄 if using.
2. Add Lime Juice & Season:
Pour in the lime juice 🍋, and season with salt 🧂 and black pepper 🧂 to taste.
3. Mix Gently:
Stir all ingredients until well combined, being careful not to crush the tomatoes.
4, Rest & Serve:
Let sit for 10 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
Serve chilled with grilled meats, tacos, or tortilla chips.
